He performs a full range of diagnostic, screening, and surveillance gastrointestinal procedures, including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, to help detect and manage digestive diseases and gastrointestinal cancers.
Why did you specialize in Gastroenterology?
My decision to pursue a specialization in gastroenterology and hepatology stems from the field’s remarkable diversity and its unique blend of basic and clinical science, which continues to captivate me. This specialty presents a broad spectrum of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, enabling me to actively alleviate the challenges faced by patients. What I find most fulfilling is the opportunity to deliver both diagnosis and treatment simultaneously, offering comprehensive care that truly makes a difference in patients’ lives.
What should the patients expect when they come to see you?
Practicing medicine requires a meticulous focus on each patient’s symptoms, complemented by a thorough physical examination, which often leads to an accurate diagnosis. I am committed to providing comprehensive gastroenterological care, ensuring that patients receive both basic and advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures tailored to their medical needs. In my approach, I treat every patient as I would for a member of my own family, offering attentive support and being readily available to address their gastrointestinal concerns with the utmost dedication.
